It is identified as: Swift Current's 1909 team, "Amateur Champions of Saskatchewan", which toured North Dakota, Minnesota and Iowa. Top row, left, B.M. Hill, Bert Emms; centre row at right, Ernie Dobbs, Dr. J.A. Black; bottom row, left of manager Schoonmaker, is Reg Hodgson. Others are not identified.
The tour was apparently sponsored by the Swift Current Board of Trade as a way of promoting the town.
