VANCOUVER SENIOR CITY LEAGUE

Veteran Charlie Miron of VAC captured his second straight batting championship edging out Peggy Duff of the Firemen by two points for the 1929 crown.  Miron finished at .380 in 32 games besting Duff's .378.  Pete Staggs of the Generals, who batted .336, good for sixth place, scored the most runs, 27.  Fred O'Farrell the VAC boss showed the way in stolen bases, with 19, two better than Roy Yamamura of the Asahis.
