BURRARD BASEBALL LEAGUE

Kaz Suga, who tied for the Asahi team lead in 1938, was the runaway team leader in 1939 finishing with a batting average of .467 in 42 games.  He also topped the team in runs, 49, hits, 63, home runs, 3, doubles, 15, and stolen bases, 58.  Koei Mitsui was second, hitting .364, and led with 27 runs batted in.
