Russ Evon of the London Majors captured the 1946 batting title with an average of .383. Evon also led the circuit in hits, with 46. 

Harry Fisher of Stratford Nationals finished with the best pitching record, 9-1.

FOOTHILLS LEAGUE  :

Danny Hackler of the Canadian Legion has captured the batting crown in the Foothills Baseball League. His .441 mark bested Ian Lowe's .425 average for Purity.  Illness prevented Hackler from playing a full season but he managed 34 at bats in the 12 games he played.  Lowe set a league record for RBI with 28. Walt Gully of the Bears scored the most runs, 27, and led in doubles, with 12. Ernie Choukalos of the Bears belted five homers to lead the sluggers. Jack Stover of the Stampeders led in stolen bases, qith 14.

Southpaw Ray Humble of the Detroit Bears was the pitching story of the 1946 season. Humble led the league in wins, 11, winning percentage, .917 with his 11-1 record, and innings pitched, 108.  Bob Shore of the Stampeders led in strikeouts, notching 101 in his 95 innings hurled.

OKANAGAN VALLEY INTERNATIONAL LEAGUE 

Infielder Marlow Hicks was the leading hitter for Kelowna of the Okanagan International League in 1946. Hicks, who played second base and shortstop for the club, finished with a .387 average to edge Dave Newton for the team title. Newton carried a .382 average.

Jack McNeil and Joe Desjardine, teammates on Kamloops C.Y.O. led the Kamloops hitters in the North Okanagan Mainline League.   McNeil finished with a .444 mark nearly 40 points ahead of Desjardine at .405.
