Above centre - Leo Solloway. " ... for several years a member of the National Biscuits baseball team, and this season a member of the A. & Q. team of the Commercial League, left last night for Montreal. He has been in the C.P.O.S. freight service for nine years and has been promoted to the position of chief clerk of the company's Asiatic freight office in Montreal. He is a native of Vancouver and went overseas with the 72nd Battatlion, being invalidated home with a wound in his neck. His father, A. E. Solloway, was at the throttle of the first Transcanada train to leave Vancouver, pulling out of the C. P. R. depot here the first of the week."   (Vancouver Daily World, June 7, 1919)
