In the late 1920s Claresholm, Alberta, decided to take on baseball in a big way with a semi-professional team. Alberta pitching legend Lincoln "Dodger" Lewis and NHLers Cecil "Tiny" Thompson, Norman "Dutch" Gainor and Laurie Scott were among the atttractions.
