EDMONTON SENIOR LEAGUE
Len Sweeney of the Native Sons captured the 1928 batting title in the Edmonton Senior League finishing the season with a .409 average besting the 1927 champion, Louis McGillis of the Chevrolet Cubs who compiled a .382 batting mark after taking the title last year with a .398 average. Bulls first sacker Bill Bell was third at .365.

VANCOUVER SENIOR LEAGUE
In the closest race in years, Charlie Miron of VAC edged out teammate Coley Hall and Cameron "Peggy" Duff of the Fireman to capture the 1928 batting title in the Vancouver Senior Baseball League. With a sensational sprint to the finish, Miron, who won the championship in 1926 and lost to Jack Cranstoun last year, batted .343 in 36 games. Duff finished at .339 and Hall at .333. Miron also topped the circuit in hits, 37, and tied with Roy Yamamura of the Asahis for the most stolen bases, each had 17. Hall had the most runs, 23, and doubles, 7. Arne Miller of the Firemen was the leagues leading slugger with six home runs.
George Sikora of the Firemen was recognized as the loop's top hurler finishing with a 6-1 record. Hal Puder, of VAC, had the best winning mark, seven, but also lost four times.

VANCOUVER TERMINAL LEAGUE
W. "Bunny" Purmal, the hard working catcher of Shores' Jewelers, edged out teammate H. Clarke for the 1928 batting title in the Terminal League. Purmal's .393 average was six points better than Clarke's .387. Lorne Campbell of South Hill was a close third, at .375, while leading the league in runs scored, with 20, and hits, 30. Kendall of C.N.R. was the leading base stealer with 16 thefts.
South Hill's Les Traeger had the best winning percentage among the hurlers with four wins and no losses. Workhorse Don "Lefty" Weaver of Shores won the most games, eight, and led in strikeouts with 176 in 131 innings pitched.

NEW WESTMINSTER SENIOR LEAGUE
With an amazing .477 average in 20 games, Joe Hebert of Fraser Mills easly took the batting championship of the New Westminster Senior League. The runner-up, teammate R. "Stun" Bray was more than 100 points behind at .365. Eddie Olson of Fraser Cafe was third with a .364 mark. Hebert also topped the senior league in doubles, 13, triples, 3, and was tied with Bill Brown of Fraser Mills for the most hits, 51. Brown had the most runs, 35.

WINNIPEG SENIOR LEAGUE
George Rivers the Elks third sacker, is the champion slugger of the 1928 Senior Baseball League, leading in every major category.. George hit the ball at a .423 clip, cracking out 30 hits for a total of 39 sacks in 71 trips. Bill Siddle, one of the best and oldest players in the circuit came within an ace of gaining the laurels. He finished just ten points back of Rivers. Red Davidson, the star heaver of the Elks, amassed an average of .395. Bunny Warren, the playing manager of the Tigers, had two marks of distinction, making just a single error in the field and whiffing on just one occasion. Rivers, who topped the loop in hits, runs, and total bases, also showed his speed, leading the circuit in steals with 14.
