The Dai Nippon Baseball Club toured the United States and Canada in 1935. It was the forerunner of the Tokyo Giants team of the Japanese Baseball League. Two of the young pitchers would go on to Hall of Fame careers, Victor Starffin and Eiji Sawamura.
