A young Maw Mori, not long after his release from the Slocan Valley internment camp. We first came across note of Mori when, in 1943, he tossed a no-hitter in the final of the Slocan Junior League, and lost.
He was just 15 and that season had pitched in both junior and senior ball.
Moving on to Toronto, Mori would be a star in Toronto senior ball for 15 seasons, mainly as a slugging first baseman.
