GALT, Ont. -- Thirty-six players formerly in Organized Ball are included on rosters of the eight clubs in the Senior Intercounty Association that operates in the larger cities of Southern Ontario. Many from U.S. semi-pro teams are also playing, making the loop half-American and half-Canadian.
Members of the loop, which has opened a 56-game schedule, are Waterloo, Brantford, Galt, Guelph, Kitchener, London, St. Thomas and Stratford.
Jim Bagby and Oscar Judd, former major league pitchers, are hurling in the loop, for Galt and Guelph respectively. Other O.B. players include Harold Holt, Richard Long, Louis Castrovince, Chilton G. Roberts, William Zura, Louis Busco, Michael Christopher, John Thackston, Samual Sporn, Edward Atrozrott, William Mahle, James Myers, Carl Moyer, Walter Doherty, William Moyer, John Fotarni, Alex Kvasnak, Donald Johnson, Walter Jeffries, Carl Parr, Donald McCabe, John Hutton, Clarence Groat, William McCarthy, Walter Wilson, Antonio Casalinuovo, Richard Falk, Nicholas Ciani, Robert Wicher, Roger Schmidt, David Hoen, John Moesch and Edmund Bauer.

(August 1) Mahers topped Westerns 5-2 clipping Johnny Walters for nine hits. Walter did rack up seven strikeouts.
